Studies are original works that are executed quicker than my original oil on wood panel pieces. They are usually made as part of the process of producing my larger work as a way to work out different aspects of a composition or color palette.  I also do studies as plein air work on site. They may be in pen and ink, watercolor on paper or oil on canvas paper.  All are made with archival materials and attention to detail and quality.
