Summertime! So That Means... Art Festivals!
It's hot outside so that means we're deep into summer. Time for swimming days, icy drinks, baby sun hats, sundresses, farmer's market produce and... summer art festivals! Due to our entourage of littles (can just 2 be an entourage? It feels like it, sometimes), we will be staying relatively close to home. So, come visit us at southern Idaho events! We kicked off the season with Art and Roses in Boise in June and then have a few more upcoming. Plan now to come out and say hello!
Art in the Park, Twin Falls, July 27 and 28: Located at the City Park in downtown Twin Falls, there will be jazz and wine tasting on Friday evening and then kid's activities on Saturday morning. There will also be the Rotary's fundraiser Ice Cream FunDay (!) and a beer garden, not to mention the obvious: local artists!
Arts in the Park, Boise, September 7, 8, and 9: There are more than 200 artists at this festival at Julia Davis Park and it's a fundraiser for the Boise Art Museum. There's live entertainment, lots of food and activities for kids.
Thousand Springs Art Festival, Hagerman, September 22 and 23: It is located on Ritter Island with lots of artists, artisan demonstrations and live music. It's located in a beautiful area with nearby waterfalls, canoe rides, and horse drawn wagons. Don't miss it!
