About the Artist

Monica D'Angelo is a professional artist specializing in colorful oil landscapes, though she  actively experiments with other media, subjects, and themes.  She grew up in Appalachia in West Virginia.  She now lives in Twin Falls, Idaho with her husband and three kids.  Her paintings have been featured in public spaces and private collections. 

 

Monica often works from her own photography, translating places that inspire her into artwork that invites reflection, rest and subtle energy.  Her paintings explore ideas of belonging, place, steadiness, and continuity.  She welcomes commissions and inquiries about available artwork.
