Steady began with the feeling of encountering a place that was already fully itself. Large dark rocks rising out of the open grassland, wide skies, wild sunflowers returning season after season on their own, and a weathered fence line crossing quietly through the field below.
The tall format leaves a large expanse of sky above the land below, emphasizing openness and scale. The fence line and other human marks exist within the landscape, but the land itself feels older, steadier, and more enduring.
The landscape does not need anyone in order to continue existing. It simply goes on. Steady is about recognizing that, but still feeling the desire to remain there.
Steady.
